Twin sisters and Australian pop icons The Veronicas are about to embark on a monstrous national tour.

In a move that is sure to bolster confidence in the struggling touring and events industry, Jess and Lisa Origliasso have today announced that they will be jetting to Perth in June as part of their ambitious 12-city Aussie tour GODZILLA V HUMAN.

HBF stadium will be the fifth stop for the sisters, who plan to jump every state and territory border in just one month as COVID-related restrictions begin to ease.

The national tour is the first for the duo in six years and will mark the beginning of a new chapter in the pair’s career, one that will explore the duality The Veronicas represent — as twins and musicians.

It will be the first national tour for the twins in six years after they performed at a string of festivals. Pictured here at Origin Fields day in Perth last year.

GODZILLA V HUMAN will be a two part musical experience for fans, Jess and Lisa opening with fan favourite songs and their punk pop personas before stripping it back for a second half that will see the performers do-away with the showmanship in favour of their more human selves.

The tour follows their surprise double album release announcement.

Their first 2021 record GODZILLA is set to precede the tour with a May 28 release date and will see the return of the writing line-up that produced their edgy international hit Untouched.

GODZILLA will be backed up by its antithesis — HUMAN — on July two.

“Transforming from a dance party to emotional sing-a-longs, we’ve missed it so much,” the pair said in a statement.
