A life-changing $5 million jackpot is up for grabs for the Tuesday night lottery draw after no one picked the winning numbers last week.
A life-changing $5 million is up for grabs for the Tuesday night lottery.
The prize has jackpotted after nobody picked the winning numbers last week.
So far this year, there have been 11 Oz Lotto division one winning entries across Australia who have pocketed more than $156.1 million in prize money between them.
Four division one winning entries have landed in Victoria, three each in Western Australia and NSW, and one in the Northern Territory.
The last time a lucky punter landed a $5 million prize was in May this year.
The Victorian player at first didn’t believe the good news was legitimate.
“Stop it. Did you say you’re calling from The Lott?” the newly minted multi-millionaire questioned lottery officials.
“Oh my god, oh my god,” the Victorian woman continued.
“I am so sorry. I can’t stop crying. I can’t even hold the phone right now. I can’t stop shaking.
“I am so emotional. I need to hang up this phone and just break down.
“We will definitely help our family.
“I am sure we will go on a few holidays too. But otherwise, I am not sure. I can’t think straight.”
It comes as later this week Powerball jackpots to an impressive $80 million after nobody won last week’s $60 million top prize.
The Lott’s Matt Hart said the winner would find out whether they’d won at 8.30pm tonight.
The ability to enter closes an hour before the announcement.
“Like many Oz Lotto players, we’ll be eagerly awaiting this week’s results after the draw closes at 7.30pm AEST on Tuesday night,” Mr Hart said.
